"KCOS" (Kyros Card Operating System)

Internally designed "KCOS" (Kyros Card Operating System) is a full-featured OS. It can be used for things like electronic purses and personal identification documents, as well as in the domains of transportation, banking, e-commerce, medicine (health and insurance), telecommunications, and even utility services.

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) -Government of India body creating standards-has established the "SCOSTA" Smart Card Operating system for Transport Application. Applications for both driver's licences and motor vehicle registrations will require this. This product is NIC-certified for use with the Phillips and Reneses chipsets, while an uncertified version is available for use with the Infineon and Samsung chipsets.

"KCOS" (Kyros Card Operating System) is a comprehensive Smart Card operating system developed in-house. Can be used in the fields of Transportation, Banking, E-Commerce, Medical (Health & Insurance) Telecommunications, Security Identification and Utility Services and several applications like electronic purse, Personal ID cards.
